Breakfast for dinner

September 13, 2010

I don’t know if it’s allergies or illness — I think it’s the seasonal change messing with my sinuses — but all I wanted for dinner tonight was breakfast.

And why fight your cravings?! 😀

This was meant to be an egg white omelet stuffed with spinach, tomatoes and peppers but, as you can tell, things fell apart a bit in the serving. And that’s okay!

Actually, I don’t really know how to make an omelet. I know, people always say how easy it is and that you just need to fold it over. Easier said than done!

This gorgeous guy seemed like he was on his way to being the perfect omelet and then I got somewhat overzealous in my add-ons (gotta get in those greens) and it all exploded.

Tastes just as good! 😀

On the side was a delicious slice of brioche from Patisserie Poupon. If you’ve never had brioche, it basically tastes like a flaky, buttery croissant.

Très délicieux!

It’s early to bed with a book and a mug of snow dew tea (one year later, I’m almost finished with the last box I brought back from Korea, sadly) for me! I want to be back to 100% in the morning and this yummy dinner definitely set me on the right track.

Don’t forget to enter to win a $45 gift certificate to CSN Stores — the contest is open through Friday night!

So funny — an omelet and bread is exactly what I had for dinner tonight too! I’ve been feeling sick and eggs was the only thing I wanted. So I agree — don’t fight those cravings!

I’m kinda excited the weather is getting colder so I can drink tea all the time again!!

It’s doesn’t need to be cold to drink tea! Year-round, I say. 😉
